Save the Date!  This fall's Training Forum is on Thursday, October 16, with guest speaker, Dr. Ruth Clark. Come hear her discuss her new book, The New Virtual Classroom, and make plans to attend the full-day workshop on E-Learning and the Science of Instruction on October 17. Stay tuned for more information.

This fall, Dr. Greg Kearsley and Dr. Mauri Collins will join ISD’s team of adjunct faculty.

Dr. Kearsley received his PhD in educational psychology from the University of Alberta in 1978 and has written many books and articles about technology and education. He also has designed online courses for NCREL, Walden Institute and the MEPP program at the University of Wisconsin.  He will teach the course “Corporate Distance Education”.

Dr. Collins received her Doctor of Education in 2003 from Pennsylvania State University. She has co-edited the three volume series Computer-Mediated Communication and The Online Classroom , and the four volume series: "Wired Together: The Online Classroom in K-12".  She will teach the course “The Adult Learner”.
